Spitex Bern focuses on sustainable mobility with allride

Spitex Bern, a leading provider of outpatient care in the region, has opted for a forward-looking mobility solution – allride. The AMAG Group’s mobility platform is being used to convert the vehicle fleet to electromobility. This project underscores both partners’ commitment to sustainability, efficiency and digitalisation in the healthcare sector.

Electromobility in daily care

As part of a six-month pilot project, Spitex Bern is testing various electric vehicles at three locations, including e-bikes and electric cars such as the VW ID.3, the VW e-Up and the Microlino. The aim is to identify the most suitable models for daily home visits by nurses and to add them to the fleet.

Digitalisation and increased efficiency

The allride platform not only offers Spitex Bern environmentally friendly vehicles, but also a digital solution for fleet management. Employees can reserve and use vehicles without keys via a user-friendly app, which reduces administrative red tape and increases efficiency.

Comprehensive service from a single source

Spitex Bern benefits from an all-inclusive package from the AMAG Group, which includes financing, insurance, maintenance, cleaning and tyre changes. AMAG Retail Bern Wankdorf is responsible for providing and maintaining the vehicles, while AMAG Leasing provides financing for the Microlinos.
